The Phone Recovery Stick works with any device running:
Android 1.x, 2.x, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1, 8.0, 8.1 (please note that devices running Android 5 and higher must be rooted before data recovery is possible and you must have the device password for devices running Android 4.2 and above).

Certain devices running My KNOX cannot be rooted in a manner that allows for deleted data recovery. If you device runs KNOX, deleted data cannot be recovered unless KNOX is uninstalled.

The Phone Recovery Stick can recover deleted text messages (SMS/MMS), contacts, notes, & calendar entries from the phone. It can also recover deleted photos/images, MP3, videos, and documents from the SD card as well as deleted data from apps such as Chrome, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, TextFree, TextPlus, Pinger, and Vkontakte. Data can be recovered that has not been overwritten yet. If a part of recovered data was overwritten, its complete recovery will not be possible. There is no set time deleted data can be recovered from.
